Rare Earth Green Intensifying Screens

Rare Earth Green intensifying screens contain a high efficiency green emitting x-ray phosphor, gadolinium oxysulfide. These screens are intended for use with orthochromatic or green sensitive x-ray film.

Rare Earth Green screens are available in five types: Green 600, Green 400, Green 200, Green 100 and Green Extremity.

TYPE CAT NO. DESCRIPTION
GREEN 600 12.G600 This green emitting rare earth screen has an approximate relative system speed of 600 when used with a medium speed green sensitive film. When used with a high speed green film system speeds of 1000 to 1200 can be achieved.
GREEN 400 12.G400 This green emitting rare earth screen has a relative system speed of 400 when used with a medium speed green sensitive film and 800 speed when used with a high speed green film. This screen is highly recommended for all general radiographic procedures, providing an optimal balance of dose reduction and image quality.
GREEN 200 12.G200 This green emitting rare earth screen has a relative system speed of 200 when used with a medium speed green sensitive film. This screen/film combination is primarily recommended for specialized studies that require improved resolution compared to a 400 speed system (Green Regular).
GREEN 100 12.G100 This green emitting rare earth screen has a relative system speed of 100 when used with a medium speed green sensitive film. This screen is recommended for general extremity studies. This screen provides an excellent balance of image quality and sensitivity, which cannot be duplicated by the use of non-rare earth, detail screens.
GREEN EXTREMITY 12.G50EX This product consists of a single Rare Earth Green 100 screen paired with a black filler screen. When used with a single emulsion green sensitive film, the highest degree of resolution is obtained for extremity studies. The relative system speeds with medium speed green film is 50.
